My life in the U.S.
I arrived in this country in dec 2009.My family did not come with me .I was homesick,nervous,and a little excited.I had no job and no friends here.I thought how I could speak English .I just watched TV particular channel 13.somethimes when wrote my sister .She lived in Florida I tried to write her in English.Before I wasn't know the verbs past simple .When I came in LINCC my English came better and I thought Eleine should be the best person to teach me .

Thanks, Gladinie. I hope I can live up to your expectations. Can I ask why you came to the U.S.? It was brave of you to come by yourself. You should write to Channel 13 and tell the people who work there how much the station helped you.
